Cerys
Hi, my name is Cerys Anne Basalau, self employed Advanced Beauty Therapist and permanent make up technician. I initially qualified in 2003,
with a BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, followed by a Foundation Degree in Salon Management in 2015, then as specialist in permanent make up in 2011, as an Alumier skin specialist in 2018 and as a microblade artist in 2017.
I am the proud owner of my business Cerys Anne Advanced Beauty. I work from my home salon and run twice weekly clinics at Tilly Rose Beauty Boutique in Warwickshire and monthly clinics at Bliss Beauty, Nails and Aesthetics in South Wales.
Over the years I have built my skills and qualifications and now focus on the more advanced beauty treatments, specialising in Semi-Permanent Make-Up, Microblading, Alumier Facial Peels, VPL Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation.
Originally from Wales I moved to England in 2018 after marrying my Prince Charming and began my self employed business after 15 years of owning my own salon in Wales. My passion is helping clients achieve a natural make up look. A creative at heart, I love that my clients feel they can put their trust in me to help them achieve a look that is both natural and low maintenance, after all who doesn’t love a bit more time in the mornings!
For me beauty is an interesting mix of art and science. My ethos is “If you look good you feel good” and that beauty comes from within but begins with your happiness and confidence in yourself. I feel beauty is not a reflection of your vanity, but of your self care, which is so important in this day and age. With more than 10 years experience in the permanent make up industry, I feel equipped to achieve your desired look.
We would start your journey with an in depth consultation to discuss your needs and help me to put your mind at ease about the decision to choose me as your technician. I'm always happy to talk on the phone if you have questions about any of my treatments or services.

I can absolutely recommend Cerys for eyebrow micro blading .. Professional throughout, very thorough. Lots of aftercare advice, products for aftercare use, plus literature to take away, as it doesn’t always register when discussed post treatment. Always at hand for any advice. Finished off with lovely natural looking brows. What’s not to love about this experience!!
